The woven random recycled rugs are made from 100% recycled wool. Each piece is unique but all share a tasteful muted colour palette inspired by the River Dee and the forests and nature reserves local to Tweedmill's Flintshire base. Generally comprising a neutral base, earthy shades such as mustard yellow, and flashes of jewel tones popping out in the warp. Wool fabrics are resilient and easy care, providing low temperatures are used, and retain their natural qualities of insulation, breathability and elasticity. Due to its natural antibacterial properties, wool naturally resists odours and requires infrequent laundering. Wool is one of the most sustainable fabrics in existence; renewable and biodegradable, it requires relatively little water for its production.
